On our syllabus theres instructions to bring toiletries and towels because we will be bathing each other and brushing each other's teeth, and also demonstrating perineal & hand and foot care. to be quite honest i am horrified lol,i just assumed we would be practicing on mannequins.... i dont know what to think.

Many programs will have students practice on each other, such as bed baths, assessments, and things like that. Perineal care would be over the top, however. We simply did forearms and lower legs.
Our teacher literally had us demonstrate how to bathe arms and legs on the skeleton in the class room, after we demonstrated how to fold the rag right. I think it may be more helpful to do it on a live person and figure out to turn a person and what not.
oh heel no... we practiced bathing each other, but we wore shorts and tank tops. The most detailed cleansing was our faces. My peri area is on a strict need-to-know basis!! If I don't require one to see it, they don't.

Has anyone else had to go through this?
