Barry CRNA Starting 2018

Hello all! I just thought I would start a thread for those of us applying. I have started my application and I am working on my personal statement now. How are you all doing?

I have taken the GRE and passed my CCRN. I still need to get my PALS. I also need to ask for my letters of recommendation and send in my school transcripts & GRE scores. I'm going to try to apply for the Tampa campus.

I'm curious to know if they have called everyone for the August 4 interviews yet

I am curious too. I applied to the program pretty late - application was sent for review around May 15. So maybe that's what the hold up is. Trying to think positive.

Called Barry today. They said they haven't started calling for the august interviews yet. They will start next week. Tomorrow if they're updated.

That's good to know. I my overall gpa is not that great but i got all A's and B's in my nursing classes and I just finished up organic chemistry and the ANE course that barry offers. I have 14 years in NICU/PICU so I hope all this counts

for something. I'm still very hopeful.

How was the ANE 695 chem class? Was it worth paying the $$$ for that class vs taking a less expensive chem class? I've been contemplating it. Thinking maybe it would give me better insight into what Chem profess expects/is like and more info on Anesthesia program. How was it?

What in the world is taking so long? Are they full for the August interviews, or are they just taking their time with reviewing applicants? The waiting process is so tedious!!
