Barry CRNA Starting 2018

Hello all! I just thought I would start a thread for those of us applying. I have started my application and I am working on my personal statement now. How are you all doing?

I have taken the GRE and passed my CCRN. I still need to get my PALS. I also need to ask for my letters of recommendation and send in my school transcripts & GRE scores. I'm going to try to apply for the Tampa campus.

Has anyone applied to Ocala location?

How long did it take to prep and take the GRE? What parts of GRE need to be taken? General? Verbal / Math? Etc

I prepped for about 3 or 4 weeks and did very well. It has been a long time since I had taken math, but I was able to review a few prep books and it was not too difficult to pick back up. You will have to take the entire test (math, verbal, and the writing section).

So just to clarify, from the post I see that there are 90 spots that they will be accepting applicants for, are these spots in between the 3 campuses... and once you get accepted you don't know which campus you will start at?

Got off the phone with Barry and they said August interviews are the 4th and the 25th. They will start calling next week or so. They have 45-50 spots open.

That's encouraging. Thanks for the update. I wonder why the delay. My concern is the later we find out, then we may not be able to register for the head start classes in time due to late interviews..

Exactly... we will have to form a support group for those of us unable to take the HSP classes. I'm trying to think positive about it by remembering the other programs don't all have a HSP option so as long as we get in we will just have a better horror story to tell (lol).

Just put ur 1st & 2nd choice as the same place and hope for the best :-)... I got what I asked for... 5 more months of semi-freedom left :-)

No. I'm remaining positive but at the same time curious to know what the procedure is if they Pass over your application
