Barry CRNA Starting 2018

Published

Hello all! I just thought I would start a thread for those of us applying. I have started my application and I am working on my personal statement now. How are you all doing?

I have taken the GRE and passed my CCRN. I still need to get my PALS. I also need to ask for my letters of recommendation and send in my school transcripts & GRE scores. I'm going to try to apply for the Tampa campus.

Seems like you're good to go! 14 years experience is incredible. Just follow up on your application and make sure they have everything on file so it doesn't get delayed in reaching the admissions commiteee.

Whats not so well? I got a 294 with a horrible essay score. Im sure youll be fine.

With all of the recent changes being made to healthcare, what are people planning to do for insurance? Being that we are not able to work while in the CRNA program, what options are out there in terms of healthcare?

I recently been looking for individual insurance as well just to see and on ave. the premiums for me were in the $300s. Definitely ridiculous.

Is that coverage for you only or did you include a family?

Anyone heard anything about interview dates or received an invite for this month?

Haven't heard anything about the May dates

Received a call today. I'll be interviewing May 26.

Congrats! When did your application get sent to the committee for review ??

Hey guys, I am currently attending Barry's CRNA program, class of 2019, at the Tampa location. I would be happy to answer questions if you have any.

Awesome! I was thinking of putting the Tampa location and my first choice, followed by the Orlando location. Did you take advantage of the head start program?

Awagrn,

I submitted my entire packet in January and received an email in March saying my application was forwarded to the admissions committee.
