I've been checking to see if anyone has made a new thread for this fall, so I finally decided to be the one to do it.
I've sent in my application, taken the TEAS, and just need to send in my A&P II grade once I finish the class in May. Hoping to meet some other applicants! We're moving to San Antonio this summer from Alabama (military family). I'm really hoping that I make it in this fall!
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Well, the priority deadline is basically where they make all of their decisions from. So if you didn't have everything in by May 15th you'll be considered for the June 15th deadline. I was told that majority of the slots are filled from the May 15th pool..but "some" slots are left open. :/
@TeaandCupcakes: Best of luck! You were very close to your mark and there's time before June 15th!
@Hill.nieto0810: Oh, geez. I had everything in by the beginning of April except for the class I finished on May 13th. I wonder why I wasn't told the option of having my professor e-mail the grades for priority consideration. They got my transcript yesterday, but it's after that cut off so idk if that makes me at the end of the list.
@Badgertastic : I just had my transcripts sent over this past week as well. I've had all my other documents turned in since March, but I was just waiting for my final grade to be posted for the last class that I needed. So I guess I'll just have to see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Hey everyone. Well, I took my TEAS test and I did great on everything except for the math. I missed the mark by 3%
. I should have studied more, but honestly, I wasn't planning on applying for this program and by the time I found out I was, I had 7 days to prepare for the TEAS
. I did speak with the advisor, and she recommended that I retake the TEAS since I was so close. She added more test dates before the final deadline of June 15th. I went ahead and registered, and also ordered the ATI book on Amazon. Im hoping to get a better score on it this time.
OAN: I looked into the LVN program at Baptist and noticed the TEAS requirements were lower. I went ahead and applied for that program also. Hoping for the RN of course but LVN is still a great second choice.
Good luck to everyone & I am looking forward to hearing who got accepted. God Bless! :)
