Banner New Grad Experience

Published

Hello,

I have an interview for banners new grad experience. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this, what the interview process is like, was there more than 1 interview. How soon did you hear back. What was the program like.. and any tips for the interview! So pretty much any and all information that you might have!

Thank you, your time is greatly appreciated!

That's good to hear! I actually didn't have any of my clinical rotations at Banner so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm really excited to start working as a nurse soon :) I'm going to be in a med surg floor. I actually called and left a voicemail today with recruitment to try and schedule the appt and I emailed the lady I interviewed with yesterday so hopefully I'll hear back soon. I know they must really busy at this time. I'll let you know when I hear back.

I heard from Banner yesterday in the evening :) I received the new hire email and am supposed to hear from the recruiting specialist sometime today.

I was in the same boat as a lot of you. Got hired on the spot but didn't hear back for the onboarding appointment until yesterday. I start August 6th in the ICU at Estrella.

If anyone's starting at Thunderbird's PCU, you will love it. I did my Transition to Practice there and I loved the nurses and techs. They're great people!

Edit: if you look at your welcoming email, it tells you to contact your recruitment person once you finish all of the online paperwork to set up an onboarding appointment. So don't feel like you're pestering them, but don't send them too many emails. Just let them know you're ready for onboarding.

I accepted a position at BUMCP last Friday. I was curious as to when I would receive on-boarding information so I can plan my schedule. I'm out of state, so my situation is somewhat more difficult.

It took me like over two weeks to hear from onboarding after I got hired on the spot. I actually started calling them to schedule the appt and that helped speed things up.

Do they explain the healthcare benefits details during the onboarding appt? Do they provide scrubs or do I have to buy them myself?

You have to buy them yourself.

Do you just buy any navy blue scrubs or are there certain requirements?
