Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else has applied to Bakersfield college for Spring 2015.?... This is my first time applying so feeling a little anxious. I am a LVN but have applied to both the bridge program and traditional 2 year ADN program. Whichever seat I get I would be glad to have at this point since I've been going to school part-time and working full-time for about 8 years.
Anyone else waiting just curious if you know the waiting period to hear back any news on the applications, when do you take Teas test, you know just hoping to hear from someone else waiting to hear back from the department..
Good luck to those out there applying for a nursing program and experiencing anxieties like myself to hear some news!!
I am so sorry I am late posting. I broke down and called as well....they forgot to call me. They felt bad, but I was accepted. Please know, if you weren't accepted do NOT give up. I was not accepted my first time applying, most get in on their second try. So please, DO NOT lose faith. I still have to pass the TEAS, so it is not for sure. I have not taken it, and they've only given us a week so I am very nervous.
Good job! Any pointers for the TEAS? I am so nervous as we only have a week to prepare (I've been studying but I honestly did not have the mindset that I would get in this time around, my fault). I have the ATI study guide and practice exams as well as the McGraw Hill practice tests. I am needing to improve in the math section, it makes me terribly nervous. And I am sure I will be seeing you soon (if i pass that is!)
I am so sorry, I was unable to get to my computer this weekend after I posted due to work. I was accepted, but they forgot to call me. Had I not called, I wouldn't have known until I received my letter (which I just got today in the mail). As far as TEAS goes, they are only giving us one test date. This Friday. 730 am. No other times. Which is rather nerve wracking, as usually they have weeks to prepare. One testing date is pretty difficult with work etc. As far as sponsorships go, San Joaquin is the best. (I never applied but I should have, laziness on my end). Keep in mind I did not get in my first try, it's rare that people do.
