Today was the first day back and what a mess~ they came in a stripped the floor over the summer, which is great, except all the furniture was stuck to the floor. Every flat surface in my clinic is covered with cardboard boxes--I guess I should be thankful that they didn't get stuck to the floor! My clinic is about the size of a guest bathroom so it's very tight in there. I moved some furniture around to try to open up the space and scratched the floor a little--now the janitor is ticked... Uh, perhaps if you hadn't left the furniture STUCK to the floor, mkay? It took me literally all day, until 3pm to find my medication forms. Tomorrow is Meet & Greet, so I need to go in a little early and try to get some countertop space cleared off. Right now it looksl like someone stood in the doorway and threw the supplies in. Geez Louise, what a mess.

I feel ya!! My office was pretty much organized on Monday, it looks like a hurricane has come through here now!

Ugh. They delivered 9 large boxes of supplies today. I don't know where I'm going to put them. I literally have no more space. At the moment they are stacked 2-3 high on top of my little bed. Gotta get all of it moved out before my little guy comes in for his tube feeding at 11am.

Neither of my diabetics showed up, so I have no supplies for them. I do have their orders from last year, which are still in effect, so hopefully they will bring their stuff in tomorrow morning. If not,I'll be calling their moms. I have so far received 3 epi-pens, 1 inhaler, and 1 bottle of ADHD med. :uhoh3: I guess you know how tomorrow morning is gonna go. Better break out my running shoes.

I'm going back today along with the teachers; kiddos don't start until the 23rd. New school, new people, new age level...wish me luck!

I can beat all of y'all...my school is literally still a construction zone. Kids are back Monday and as of right now, no one is allowed in the school except for the few of us in the office, and we have to stay in the office at all times. Teachers are not even being allowed in their classrooms until (hopefully) tomorrow. That means they will be working all weekend to try to get their rooms put together.

I am thankful that construction is done in my office (althouth Tuesday I arrived to find a big hole in my ceiling with wires hanging out of it!). I also have a new Principal who seems to be wonderful, and I am really excited about this year! I just hope we have a functional school come Monday to welcome the kiddos into!
