There are some great ideas in the threads listed below in "Similar Threads." I'm sure you'll find a few ideas you like.
Otherwise, you can Google for baby shower ideas and pull up some other cool ideas. :) Best of luck!

Yep, I was going to say there are many ideas online...I found a ton at

When we had a baby shower for my sister, we played a few games, but I can only remember one....we made tiny diapers out of triangular pieces of felt. We then put the "diaper" on a cotton ball, used a small safety pin to keep it closed. Each seat at the tables had a diapered cotton ball, and one cotton ball per table had a "dirty" diaper. We just put a dot of mustard on the cotton ball. Whoever got the dirty diaper won the center piece on the table.
We also made the new Dad a "Daddy's tool belt". It was a canvas apron with lots of pockets to put new baby "tools" for Daddy! Things like tongs (to pick up the dirty diapers with), baby wipes, powder, Desitin, clothes pin for the nose, etc.....anything you can think of! We also labeled it "Daddy's Tool Belt" with fabric paint.
I also made a diaper cake for my sister with cloth diapers. Lots of directions for those on the net, you hide small things in the "cake" layers, like mitts, bibs, socks, etc. They can also be made with disposable diapers, but I've never tried that. Good luck! Just have fun!

I like the ones where there are a couple of baby quilts set out to be tied. Everyone sits around and chats while tying the quilts and Mommy gets to take home something very special.
Not so much a game, but I went to one where everyone brought a baby gift and a little gift for Mom, too--lotion, an ummm, grown-up drink, stuff like that to be put in a basket.
Just don't play the game where unlabeled baby food is passed around and the guests have to taste it and guess which flavor . . .

At the last shower I attended, the hostess collected baby pictures of each of the guests, and then we tried to match participant with picture. The winner got a prize.

We did the diaper and mustard thing but a little differently and it was fun. Unbeknownst to the guests. We made the diapers out of square napkins and put in a few mint candies. So the guests would stick their fingers in and grab a candy. One had mustard in the diaper and whoever hollered out that something was on their fingers got the prize LOL What a surprise.
The best drink I had at a shower is where the punch bowl was filled with 7-up and then pink sherbert ice cream was added floating on top with some ice cubes. It all mixed together and was pink with some sherbert still floating on top. Very delicious!
Another game we played was where a bunch of baby items and toys were placed on a tray and set out in the middle of the living room. The guests had a pencil and pad and when the tray was removed the guests had to list as much as they could remember. The best memory won.

At the shower I threw for my cousin, we played the bubblegum baby game. Each person was given a piece of pink bubblicious gum and told to mold a baby out of it. It was a crack up!
We also played the name game, where we took the mother and father's name and made up a name for the baby by using the letters of the parents name. You could only use each letter once too. It was fun!
Hope that gives ya a couple of ideas!
Have fun!!!:balloons:

When I was preggy with ds, one of my coworkers did the one where you get several different candy bars, smash them inside a diaper & nuke it for a few seconds. Each diaper gets a # written on the outside. The guests have to figure out which diaper contains which candy bar but you can't taste it. It's really fun, even if it's a little corny.

Okay, I am going to sound like a total crank, but I hate baby shower games. Maybe one or two, but enough is enough! I recently attended a baby shower which had game after game after game... I took the excuse that I had to "help" so I couldn't play guess the chocolate in the poopy diaper...
We also played memory games (what's on the tray of stuff), which are challenging for us oldsters.
We did not have a chance to visit with other people. I suggest opening a few bottles of champagne, play one or two games, and let people eat, drink, and visit! I found the entire affair an ordeal.
I remain your cranky old...
