Azusa Pacifica (APU) ELM Fall 2020

Hi everyone!

I'm starting this thread for applicants that have submitted/are in the process of submitting their application for Fall 2020. I'm hoping we can all get together and discuss our experiences with the whole application and potential interview process ?

I'm currently in the process of finishing up my application and am extremely nervous about hitting that Submit button once it's finished. I don't have the best overall undergrad GPA, but was able to redeem myself a bit with my pre-reqs GPA. I am hoping that my personal essay and references will help increase my chances of being accepted *fingers crossed*.

The deadline is in exactly a month and I would like to say good luck to everyone!

@Dutchmrcat Hey!! I am also out of state and had my online interview in October. What they did in my case was send me an email to set up a date and time. However I applied to IE campus not sure if that changes anything for you.

Does that mean they are done with interviews for the main campus if they’re making decisions in the next few weeks?!

Has anyone who applied 10/1 for main campus heard for an interview?

Hi @Dutchmrcat, I submitted on 10/1 and received an invite to interview about two weeks ago on Monday Nov. 18th. Hope this info helps!

Hi @Dutchmrcat, I also submitted on 10/1 and received an invite to interview around 2 weeks ago as well to have the interview on Nov. 19 (Tuesday) similar to @Alexa Soliz. Let me know if you have anymore questions! I will be happy to answer your questions if it's something I know about. ?

Hi I’m finishing up my final prereq right now, but does anyone know if we have to just get a C or higher in the remainder of our classes in progress or a B or higher?

Hi everyone! So I reached out to the admissions team because I still hadn't heard anything about my application. And I got this response.

"Fall 2020 applications will start being reviewed after the deadline, October 1st, 2019. Students selected for interviews will be contacted by the School of Nursing between November-December. Once decisions are finalized, admission letters (admit/deny) will be sent between the end of December-January 2020.

Thank you again for submitting your application to Azusa Pacific University."

Hope this helps everyone for people like me who are nervously waiting.
