Hi everyone!
I'm starting this thread for applicants that have submitted/are in the process of submitting their application for Fall 2020. I'm hoping we can all get together and discuss our experiences with the whole application and potential interview process ?
I'm currently in the process of finishing up my application and am extremely nervous about hitting that Submit button once it's finished. I don't have the best overall undergrad GPA, but was able to redeem myself a bit with my pre-reqs GPA. I am hoping that my personal essay and references will help increase my chances of being accepted *fingers crossed*.
The deadline is in exactly a month and I would like to say good luck to everyone!

Hello!
I hope you’re doing well. I was accepted to the Spring 2021 cohort but at the IE location.

Hi @SunnyDaize! Congratulations on your acceptance!! I just made a FB group for APU ELM, Summer 2021 Cohort 114 for Main campus. Let me know if you have problems with the link, looking forward to connecting with you!
I had a question about the APU clinical sites, like where can I find a list of them? I am interested in working for LAC+USC or for LA County DPH upon graduation and I know having a clinical is helpful for job prospects. I know Western University does them there but does anyone know about APU? Also, I was reading that after the first two years, we would graduate with our BSN and then continue for our MSN. Is that correct? It was a footnote on their website where I read that but I just wanted to confirm.
Thanks for the information!
Hi,
I do not know about where their clinical sites are but I do know that after the 5th semester approx 18 months you can sit for the RN boards and once you pass you receive the BSN and can start working. You have to pass the boards in order to move on to the Masters portion of the program.
Yes they are. I guess direct message doesn't work on here do you have a fb group for your cohort? I can join and you can DM me through there? @fromthebl0ck
