Azusa Pacific University ELM Spring 2017

Published

Hi all!

I'm applying for APU's ELM program for Spring 2017 and I was curious to see who else was applying :) maybe we could chat about the application process!

Congrats sm03!

I got a letter in the mail Friday... or maybe Thursday that explains the deposit of $1000 and also states that an email about orientation will be sent out for details. I am curious on orientation. Past threads showed that orientation is only a few days before classes start, which makes me wonder if we will also get something that has a list of what specific things to buy and when, where, and how much the book bundle will be. Previous threads also mention the book bundle is a whopping $1,300!!! I would love to buy books earlier rather than later so I can start reading. Anyone know anything?

I would probably wait on buying the books in case if newer editions are released.

Did anyone who got accepted for Summer 2017 get their acceptance packet yet? I got mine but there was hardly any information in it. It didn't say anything about orientation or deposits or anything. I'm wondering if they're going to wait to send out all of that information later.

Hey bri! You'll probably receive the deposit letter in a few days. I received mine about 4 days after I had received my acceptance packet, which like yours, didnt contain any information. :)

Alright, perfect! I opened up my packet and I was just like......uhhhh thats it? í ½í¸‚

Hi all, I was accepted into the SD Spring 2017 cohort.

I was looking at places to stay and its freakin expensive to live alone but cheaper for 2-3 bedroom. I prefer to live as close as I can to the

campus. If others that are also accepted to SD spring 17 and are interested in looking at places together, let me know. We all would like to lessen the expenses lol

@pvirk01 Where are you coming from? I live in SD now but I wanted to see if you looked into renting a room, garage that was turned into a studio, or if you had access to a trailer there are long term stays at campgrounds like Santee Lakes for pretty cheap.

I got accepted in to the spring program in san diego as well. See you there

GCNorthRim: I probably want to be in a apartment or a house, prefer my own room lol but share the apartment or house with someone or 2 other people. That way the rent is cheaper for everyone.

pvirk01, I will keep my eyes open. Hope you find something soon!

CONGRATS MG11B!
