Hi guys! I didn't see a thread for Spring 2023 and so I decided to make one! Looking forward to connecting with you all.
Good luck guys! ?
Hey guys!! I’m finally sitting down after crying for like an hour and calling family and my best friend. I GOT ACCEPTED INTO APU INLAND VALLEY! It was provisional but for those who didn’t have the best grades, it’s totally possible! In case anyone looks at this and is curious or feeling discouraged, here are my stats
non-science GPA- 3.3
science GPA- 3.1
Posted undergrad GPA- 2.89
Volunteer exp. in a faith based mission for feeding the homeless, medical mission trip to underserved areas in the Philippines, 7 years CNA experience, intermediately proficient in Spanish. Sorry! IDK if anyone cares about this, but I combed through all the forums looking to compare so hopefully someone will find this helpful ?

I, too, am in the same boat with grades and all that! I’ll share my stats as well so future applicants can see this and not be discouraged. I have been denied from National University, MiraCosta, and UMass Global (formerly Brandman).
Non-science GPA: 3.43
Science GPA: 3.76
Undergrad GPA: 2.62
TEAS (not necessary at APU): 84
Been working as an EMT for 5 years. 2 years ambulance time, 2 years SeaWorld EMT, 1.5 years in a level 1 trauma hospital. The goal is to be an ER/Trauma nurse, flight nurse, and aesthetic nurse (as a fun job!). I hope this helps someone!

Your stats are awesome! I hope these help too!! I also felt I should tell anyone else that I got academic dismissal from CBU for my masters in kinesiology so that was a really bitter pill to swallow but it ended up OK!
