Hi guys! I didn't see a thread for Spring 2023 and so I decided to make one! Looking forward to connecting with you all.
Good luck guys! ?
I just had my interview on Monday and going into it I wasn't nervous but my interview had mad eye contact and that made me so nervous. My interviewer did back to back questions. Kinda bummed she didn't bounce back on my answers so I could elaborate more but I hope I did alright.
Duration: 30mins avg.
Interview Questions I remember:
- Tell me about yourself
- Why APU? what brought you to apply here?
- What is an ethical dilemma you came across and how did you react?
- What are you work plans during school? (I feel this was a trick question because since I have CNA experience I said to maybe work per diem pending school work load. Then she proceeded to say how its not recommended to work and how rigorous the program is....like I knew that but you asked ?
- What unit do you work on and what do you do?
- How is your support system?
I applied to the San Diego campus.

How far in advance before your interview did they send you an email to schedule it?

I feel like we had the same person although I applied to Monrovia campus. I felt a little rushed and she stressed how having kids and doing this would be hard...although I kind of forsee that since I'm applying to programs...IDK all I can do is send a Thank You and hope for the best.
Does anyone know their acceptance rate for this program?

Hi Mary,
I am interested in the APU ELM program, but I've seen another thread on here about how the program is unorganized and that students have to teach themselves most of the time. What is your personal experience, and what campus do you attend?
