Hi everyone!!
Is anyone else applying for Azusa Pacific's 2+2 transfer program for summer 2020? If so, i'd love to connect and share stats. I am currently finishing up microbiology this fall, and will be applying before the Febuary deadline!
3.72GPA
150 volunteer hours
3 years of hands on patient care experience
I'm hoping we all get in!!!
Hi future classmates,
I hope the quarantine is giving you all the time to work on your castle branch documents. Just an update on the information about the Summer session from my side, as of today I haven't receive an email or instruction regarding adding classes that are needed for the BSN program. (Maybe others have received it already or maybe we all didn't?) At the meantime, I am making sure that my financial aid is set for this year and next year's awards because as of now, that's the only thing there is to do besides the castlebranch docs. In addition, I hope everyone stays in touch in this post given that we are all unsure of what the school's plan are due to the whole Covid-19 pandemic.
Thanks and be safe everyone. Hope to hear from y'all soon.

I am a graduate of the 2+2 Program from the Fall 2013 (start date) cohort. I'm here if you guys have any questions about the program and or what to expect! ? GOOD LUCK!
I do I do! They are silly questions ? one they say we have to buy one pair of the Dove scrubs. Will we wear scrubs to class lecture and skills lab? Or do we only wear scrubs when we go to clinicals? Trying to decide if I should plan to buy more than one pair if I’m wearing them every day. I’m also curious on the supplies list is says nursing shoes $60 do they have a uniform pair of shoes we buy or is that a general amount to plan to spend. If we can buy our own do they have to be a specific material and or color? OK I think that’s it for my silly questions ??
@DiscGolfNursethanks!
Do you have any advice or words of wisdom you’d like to share with us newbies? ?

As far as shoes go they just have to be white. Preferably water/fluid resistant. They must be closed toed and have backs so no crocs.
Hi!! Thanks so much for stopping by and offering your wisdom! Were you overall satisfied with the program? How were the clinical rotations? Is there alot of religion stuff that you have to do?
Thanks again!

Thanks for the response, however, I was able to talk my representative Hannah today regarding the classes and she said that "nobody" from cohort 30 received the email yet that contains the class list. Hannah said they are still working on "two classes" and also the scheduling of other classes. Therefor I wonder why you received yours already. Are you admitted for the BSN 2+2 Summer program and Can you please share any the specifics about that email and how come we are getting different information?

Thank you ☺️

You’re welcome! I was very satisfied with the program and felt prepared to start a career in nursing. There are requirements of the main university that are considered “religious” classes. I had one girl in my class who was not a believer and she still graduated and went on to pass her boards and works as a nurse. They don’t judge you if you don’t believe in God but was you to respect the school and the classes. You would treat the Bible classes just like you would any other course.
The rotations were great! In the beginning the hospitals are close but as the semesters go on you are commuting quite far and there were mornings we would leave by 0430 or 0500 to get to clinical on time. Looking back it’s all worth it. ?
