I'm hoping we all get in!!!

Awesome!!! Good luck! I am so nervous/excited. It is so close yet so far away. Can i ask what your stats are ?

Hi Sam! Well I have a 4.0. But I’ve been a stay at home mom for over 17yrs so I am nervous that might work against me as many others have field related work experience and hospital volunteer hours. My application is complete just need to finish BIO225 and I’ll be all set to request transcripts. Super nervous but very excited too. I’ve worked hard and I’m hoping it will pay off!!!!

Do you live up the hill or will you be commuting (assuming we BOTH get accepted :D) I’ll be commuting from Glendora.

Hi!!! You have a perfect GPA! You will have no problem getting in!, I know it. I'm actually from San Diego, so if I get accepted I will be moving to the Victorville area.

Thanks! I hope so! :D Have you attended any of the information meetings yet? I started at LAPU in May 2018(to earn my 49units) and have yet to attend a session. I am really curious to learn more about the program specifics, such as a typical schedule. I have heard conflicting info such as "you'll only need to go to VV on lecture days 2 days a week" to "you'll be there 8-4 M-F" I've also heard most clinical sights are in VV and others say many are "down the hill" I am such a planner the unknown is driving me crazy, LOL

Hey!! Yes, I did attend an information session. It was super helpful! From what they said at the meeting it sounds like you have it correct. The presenter stated that students were expected at school mostly M-F (sometimes a half day on Friday) for around 8 hours a day, plus studying on the weekend. They didn't say anything on the clinical sites, however that was one of my questions too ?

Hello!
I want to know who else got accepted for Summer 2020? I would love to connect ?

Have not yet applied but will after I finish BIO225 4 more weeks to go! Congrats on your acceptance. Did you apply for spring and get a spot for summer? It is nice to “meet” you. Do you live up the hill or plan to commute?

Oh ok! That helps a lot! Thank you!

Hello @ReneeH

Thank you! Yes, I applied for spring but got a spot for Summer 2020. I will plan to move closer to the campus. Possibly share a place with a student. I hope you get in!
