Did anyone start on buying books that is required for our Summer term classes? I am kind of confuse on which ones to get. Looking at the book requirements for the Foundations in Professional Nursing/Aging course, I am seeing a bundle package that cost $1384 and there are 10+ other books. Which exactly do we have to purchase?
Oh thanks for this info. I was given a heads up by my program rep on the possibility of an online orientation instead of in- person. I think this is just better and safer.
I believe they will inform us during the orientation very soon in regards to textbooks. We might have to buy a bundle package from the program.

I spoke with them today over the phone and our Orientation will Not be held in person. They will email us very soon about the zoom link. Also I did ask them about the Nutrition class, and they are still working on it.
So weird I wonder what they’re working on with the Nutrition class?? I already registered for it time isn’t conflicting anymore. I wonder why we all keep getting different info. It will be on Thursday’s from 9-11.
I will try create a facebook account after I do I will send you a direct msg here with my facebook name. Probably later tonight or tomorrow ?

Depending on how much things have changed I believe the best option is to buy the "package" offered by APU. You could look for each individual book and some people from prior cohorts may be willing to sell theirs to you but the main reason to buy the package is because those are the most up to date editions of the books you need. You couldn't get away with a 3rd edition if the course calls for a 4th edition. You will use these first semester books ALL throughout the program so there is that benefit and you do get your moneys worth. You do have the option to buy them outside of APU if you can find the correct edition for a cheaper price.

I did not get an email. I finally emailed my program rep today who just said it would be online(no details) and that class will start as scheduled but will possibly be online they will confirm during orientation.
