Hi everyone! I wanted to make a chat for those applying to AVC for the Spring 2023 application. How is everyone doing?

Hi!! I applied for this Fall, but they did not consider my app due to one of the college's not posting my final grade! UGH. As for now, I will just need to send my official transcript--no need to resubmit everything else! How are you? Do you mind sharing how many points you think you might have?

Hey!! Aww, but it’s good that you don’t have to resubmit anything else. I’m doing good thank you, just so nervous. How are you? And yes, I have 55 points BEFORE adding the points for TEAS. I still haven’t taken the TEAS yet, ahhh!! So, I don’t know how much total yet. Do you mind if you share your points?

I'm okay! 55 points is good--just do well on that TEAS exam. I have 65 points (with TEAS). I can retake it if I wanted to (if you pass one of your TEAS, you can retake it as much as you want afterwards). Again, this varies by school. That test can be a lot though LOL... I did well in each section, it's just the science that freaks me out!

Thank you! 65 is great! :) Did you take the TEAS 7 or 6? I’m so nervous on taking it!

Hi guys! I just submitted my application today and I am so anxious. I also have 65 points and the counselor told me that was pretty good. I’m just so nervous and hope we can all get in!

Anyone knows when they would send out acceptance emails?

They just said November, no date in specific

They told me usually around Thanksgiving time. But I had a question, I saw that you had previously applied in fall 2021. Was there a reason you weren’t able to get in that semester?

Hi. I did get in but I had a lot of family issues going on so I couldn’t do it.
