Hi everyone! I wanted to make a chat for those applying to AVC for the Spring 2023 application. How is everyone doing?

Hey, looking to apply to the Avc nursing program next fall. Does avc accept the TEAS results if I were to take it online at home?
I wanted to register to take it in person but the spaces filled up already so thought I would ask here if they accept them. Thanks in advance!

Hi yes they do. I took it at home as well

Yes they accept online test scores, just make sure you send your score to them. Double check that it gets sent to avc, since you only get one free transcript with the online test.

Thank you to the both! Did you guys have any technical issues while taking the test? That’s the only thing I’m really worried about.

No I didn’t, just make sure to do the test run the day before. I highly recommend you use the flag button when you don’t know the answer to a question. It leaves it at the end of the section so you can save time and take longer on those. Once you finish a section you can’t go back so make sure you review it before continuing.

Has anyone heard back from the school regarding the acceptance or denial? I saw the last post of Spring 2022, saying that they got their emails started from November 9 to 15 for the first round. 

I am so nervous and also excited to hear from them. This is kind of a torturing wait.

I haven't heard anything back from them yet. Maybe next week before the week of Thanksgiving. Let's hope! ??

I think this might be the longest I’ve waited for a decision LOL. Do you remember what day they said orientation would be on?

LOL! Waiting patiently. The wait for other colleges is long too. For AVC, I don't know when the orientation will be held. But I know that the Spring semester starts on Jan 9.
