Antelope Valley College nursing program fall 2020

Hi! I just took my teas test and officially know what my points will be applying for fall of 2020 nursing program. I'm at 65 points and I was hoping someone could shed some light if these points are good enough to get into the program! ? Also, I know the deadline for applications isn't until March 1st but I wondering how long it typically takes to hear whether or not you got accepted.

Last year I wanna say they didn’t find out until the first week of June last Summer!
I also applied for this fall! I’m coming in with 55 so I’m hoping that’s enough! Wish I spoke a foreign language for those extra points!

Its probably going to be even later now with this covid-19 pandemic. I'm dying to know whether not I got in!

Hi all,

I keep calling the nursing dept for pre req evaluation and packet, but nobody answers.. help? Anyone else applying for Spring 21?

Were you able to get ahold of anyone? I haven’t been so lucky ?

They updated the RN page on the AVC website to include the application. You can also find the the program description includes the necessary pre req's needed to apply. I'll also be applying for the Spring 2021 class!

If you haven't, you should email Katherine and set up an appointment to meet with her to go over your application. I think it's required to meet with her (or an advisor) within 6 months of applying.

Also, applications are not due until Oct. 1 this year due to Covid.
