Hi everyone! I’m currently a student at AVC wanting to apply to the LVN Program for next fall. I know it’s a bit early to make this topic since the applications for next year aren’t available yet and the classes for this fall’s program hasn’t started.
I actually created this topic because I wanted to discuss about the requirements needed for this program. I have already done all the coursework that is stated in the application except that I currently am not holding any degrees. What I wanted to know is if I would be able to get into the program by just submitting my high school and AVC transcript along with my Education plan with those completed courses without any degrees. Also, if anyone knows, what is the minimum amount of points to get in?
Other than that, feel free to use this topic to ask any questions or to voice any concerns you guys might have about the program. Some things may be confusing for some people so let’s help each other out! ?
Hey guys, so I called the transcripts office and the lady was very sweet and let me know that our unofficial transcripts do not get updated until we apply for graduation. So pretty much we wouldn't see our transcripts we sent in from other schools until after we have been awarded our degree.
So, I just received a response from the program coordinator an hour ago. She said that everything has been slightly delayed, but that it’s her priority to finish when she returns tomorrow.
I personally haven’t received anything yet.
My guess from what the program coordinator told the person above is hopefully more acceptance emails come out some time this week since her priority was to finish them today. That’s just my guess though.
Hold on to that hope! I’m sure we’ll find out very soon! ??
Nothing yet, aside from an email back from counselor Quesada stating that things are delayed, but the coordinator is running behind due to missing clerical personnel, but she is doing the best she can.

I see. I just thought I would ask everyone here instead of bothering the coordinator again with another email or phone call. I’ll just contact her again next week if I still don’t hear anything back. Let’s keep each other updated.
Hey guys, so I checked the forum for those applying the the RN program this fall 2022 and someone said earlier today that they are short staffed and don’t have an estimate time on when we’ll find out.
Just want you guys to be aware in case you feel anxious since we may not be hearing from them for a while more possibly. I know I’ve been anxiously waiting since last week LOL. We’ll find out eventually before the semester starts so at least we can be sure of that ?

Hey I just checked that forum and saw that too, but I emailed the coordinator a couple hours ago and she said that all notifications have been sent out. I still haven’t received anything though. Has anyone else? I’ll attach a screenshot of the email here.
