Avant Healthcare

Published

I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Thank you!

The questions I had mostly came on the information that I wrote in my resume using their format. They sent me that format. It includes lists of your skills, equipment used, cases you handled etc. My interviewer also gave situational questions.

@ smgrn, BSN, RN. I am from Nigeria and I am also with AVANT I started with them in June and have signed a contract. I just submitted my documents. I understand that I have to begin an NCLEX review program before they will register me for the exam. I have CGFNS and Visascreen certificates.

I'd like to know the timelines of your process with them. I want to know how long it will take to get my priority date as the visa bulletin appears to favour my region.

Thanks

hello,

Dear all,

I am a nurse working in South Korea and have signed up with AVANT Healthcare this May to work in USA hopefully next year. I have received email that USCIS sent RFE this August and has not returned with any replies yet.

I was wondering if there has been anyone who dropped(?) or I guess breached the contract before moving to the states. I have personal issues that came up which holds me back from moving.

I have read the contract and it is vague on how much I would be paying for the services they have provided up until now. I have heard rumors that it is somewhere between $20-30k? I was wondering if anybody has experience in this. ?

Please how many hours typically is the contract? Do they provide you with insurance? Are you happy with avant so far? Thank you so much

yes I am happy on contract so far, avant also provides you with that information, so I suggest if you are interested you direct these questions to them, they are more than happy to give you this information and its best to get it from the company, then you know its correct

Hello Guys, I am Tarcisio, RN from Brazil and I have just applied to Avant, I already had my first phone call interview and it went really well, my recruiter asked me to go to my university to fill up a from so they can check if my program is equivalent to an american one, did anyone have to fill and send this form too? Another thing, after the first phone call how long did you guys need to wait for the clinical interview? and after that what is the next step?

Thanks

Are you done with the English and Nursing Exam?

Yes, and I passed both of them. I also had the first telephone interview

I see. I was not asked to go to my university to verify anything. After my initial interview, I waited at least a week or two, they sent me a Resume in avant format where I wrote all my skills, equipment used, cases handled etc. Sent them back. Then, after that I waited for 2 weeks, someone called me to schedule my clinical interview. You will be asked for the date when you will be available for it.

Currently, I'm still waiting for a call to schedule my final interview. It's been going to 4 weeks since I had my clinical interview.

What stage are you now
