Every semester I am always on edge, running to check the mailbox about 10 times a day to see if I got my check lol. Has anyone received their money yet? Someone I know said her brother got hers, but that's the only person I know of! I know they technically have until Monday to have them postmarked but they are usually pretty good at getting them out before that. I am talking about Ivy Tech of course. Anyone else wanna whine? lol

I have been checking on the site multiple times a day for my account to 0 out but I still have a negative balance. I have read on the Ivy Tech discussion boards that a lot of people are still waiting, actually I have only seen one person from the Indy campus that received their check:( I wish it would hurry up!!!!
A few people suggested that the reason it is taking so long this semester is because of the two campuses switching over to that Higher One debit card thing...not sure how valid that is though.
You just reminded me to check mine and mine has finally zeroed out :) Looks like the check went out yesterday! Here's to hoping I have it by this weekend. I have to go visit my boyfriend in Michigan and the extra funds would be awesome :)

As far as I know (and from what I've read) no one at my campus has had their accounts zero out. Lame!
What campus are you at?
Gosh taranator- some of those people on the Ivy Tech Discussion Board are jerks. And I mean the ones who are being rude to those trying to point out why it might be taking longer. Some people on there act like they are 2 years old!
And to be clear- I am not complaining. If I don't get my money until next week then that's how it is. I budget for this. I am just hoping it gets here asap!
I'm at the Evansville campus, kgle.
They are sooo rude on the forum! I can't understand why the mods don't say/do something about it. It's very discouraging that we these students are suppose to be adults, yet they act like middle schoolers. LOL, I understand that some may just be out of high school, which would explain quite a bit (no offense to younger people...but you honestly DO get a bit wiser and understanding....just a bit, mind you as you get older).
I'm not complaining, either, but it's a little annoying. It will be nice to have some extra money.
