Wait are y’all saying the HESI isn’t being counted this round? I never remember seeing that can someone direct me to where it says this? I am a reapplicant and I had my HESI on my last scoring and I have nursing skills to help this time I guess I’m just confused why they aren’t counting HESI?

is it because they didn’t require it for applying this round which honestly I didn’t think was the best idea to begin with but I understand covid has messed up everything

I remember reading it wasn’t included in the score this time around & next application cycle as well because new applicants didn’t get a chance to take it. I’m pretty sure it was on the website like where all the information on how to apply is given.

that was 10 points for me. At this rate it will be 3 application cycles before people get in. Ugh

Yep, new applicants like myself weren’t able to take the HESI because of COVID so they aren’t including those points in this cycle or the next.

It’s so weird they didn’t let you guys but they allow the third and fourth quarter students to do clinicals? I’ve been seeing ACC nursing student at my hospital I work at. I feel they could have spread out the HESI testers Oh well!

im so mad they still haven’t sent out the scores yet LOL

Yeah, we went into lockdown in March and would have to have taken the HESI in April. So they just dropped it because we couldn’t even social distance back then. (It was still when stores only allowed a certain number in at a time)

So instead of 35.25 my rank will be like 30 without the HESI added? Plus the 6 points.

You’ll just subtract whatever your HESI points were and then add the reapplicant points

Keep in mind though all the scores are gonna be low since nobody has a HESI. So the cut off is probably gonna be lower. Trying to stay positive ??? Cindys email about the 500 applicants really messed with my head so now that it’s close I’m just hoping for the best.
