Austin Community College ADN Spring 2020

Hi pre-nursing students!

So I know it's extremely early but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for Spring 2020 applicants. I'm a huge worry bug and have tons of questions and would love to give and receive advice throughout this process. I'm completing my last two prerequisites this spring and will be applying when the application opens on May 15th! Tell me about your journey and ask questions about mine!

Anxious as well, worried that if my math is right about possible 37 whatever it was and if it’s good enough. I had a nightmare that google ate half the application so it wasn’t complete the other night. Fingers are just crossed for next week.

?? omg this is totally a dream I would have! Also I too worry about the app being incomplete or missing or something! But advisor told me she would contact me if she needed anything so I am assuming they dont just throw it out if somen is missing ???

I'm not sure exactly is taught but the nursing skills class is only 4-4.5 hours 1 day a week. If you go to self service where you search for classes it will let you search RNSG 1105. You can see dates/time/location for Fall 2019

I am really hoping I get an email next week but I didn't apply until July. I was told the same thing if they needed more info/clarification about my application they would contact me via ACC email. I was asking a bunch of questions because I was worried they'd just throw it in the trash if something on it was filled out wrong.

I have no idea what they teach in that class, they must get real thorough with it then and it must involve alot of step by step memorizing. I've looked at the dates, time and locations and frankly a little disappointed to see so many in cypress creek and round rock. Those locations are going to be very hard for me to get to since I bus everywhere ??. I guess I'll figure it out once the time comes.??‍♀️

Oh that’s good to know that they will contact you if anything is missing or have questions. I swear my hubby is stick me going...what if this is missing or what if I did it wrong and there is no way of knowing. Almost feel like anyone who is able to get their apps in before the original date most likely is fine, it would be after that would be pushing it a bit.

I think I saw 3 or 4 classes for EVC

Yes I was surprised. It's good to know they don't just overlook you if a mistake is made or they need clarification about something.

Actually, this week flew by and I think it’s only because there was a dated posted and it wasn’t a mess of refreshing the black hole of a page with no updates! But that being said, feel like tomorrow and Monday will drag on and on.
