Austin Community College ADN Fall 2020

Ugh guys I just heard from another person that applied that I work with that over 300 people applied this go around and that 70 are reapplicants but that only 160 are being accepted. Does anyone know if these are true-ish numbers? I feel that blows my chance

220 applied for Spring 2020 and 160 got in so that sounds about right for reapplicants.

Awwww!

Okay, for Spring 2020, they gave us a two week window too and it was definitely like Wednesday of the second week. I remember griping about how mean it was to give us hope for that first week and then still wait until then middle of the second week.

It's worth the wait (she says as she crams for her exam that's in an hour.)

Yeah I had planned to go to lab and practice before August but since I can't now I'm a little bit worried. ?

I’m not a reapplicant but I think you guys will be fine! The biggest thing I thought about needing to remember going into nursing is the entry and exit measures and to properly don and doff (especially with the current situation we are dealing with). Good luck to you guys!! The way Cindy told me is that reapplicants get in on their second try so you got this!!

OK, good to know I'm not the only one! There was so much to remember in Nursing Skills and I'm worried about how I'll be able to practice them..

OMG same! I remember on the last day of Nursing Skills my instructors had told us that like the first week there would be a checkoff on Vitals and I'm just wondering how I should practice if the labs are closed.

I'm tired of waiting too the suspense is killing meeeee.... and with some of the comments I've read I will probably have to wait an extra long time to get my acceptance because of my rank ?
