@BunnyRose13 is it true that current Level 1 students may be given the opportunity for a do-over so to speak because Covid knocked you guys out of clinicals or in person classes?

We were given the option of withdrawing from the second 8 weeks and returning next semester without penalty. No one in my cohort at RRC took that option.

37.2 here, hope it's enough to get in the fall.

So will they be adding more classes/seats to accommodate any students who take the withdrawal option?

If I had to guess, I'd think they're accepting less new students. The classrooms only have so many seats!

I don’t think it’s the seats situation but the instructors. One of the clinical instructors I work with has mentioned how sad it is they can’t accept more students due to lack of instructors

My ranking 35.5. I'm so nervous I'm considering retaking pharm this Summer but I'm not sure if that'd help me get into the fall semester!

Unfortunately retaking any courses after you have submitted your application will not affect your ranking for the fall. It’ll only help if you re apply for the Spring of 2021

Thats what I figured. Maybe I'll just register for it, and if I'm accepted drop it and if I'm not complete it..

Sounds like you’ll get in on your second try with the extra points, not sure I’d bother retaking pharm. Assuming you don’t get in this time of course!

The five review points that you'll get for applying again will boost your rank more than retaking a class. I wouldn't bother!

Have y'all thought about what campus you want when you get accepted?

I need to be at EVC. I don’t k ow if it’s the super-bestest campus or not, but I gotta be able to pick up my rug rats from school

This is random guys but something I realized that is helping me even though I haven’t started nursing school is I currently work at a Level 4 Neonatal ICU as a patient care tech!! They have part time options etc if you’re wanting to work while in school. But the biggest thing I’ve gotten out of this job is I’ve had two job “offers” from two different unit managers for when I graduate. The connections are amazing!! So if anyone wants to apply I think we might be having a position open if not on my unit then definitely on PICU! The skills I’ve learned on the job helped me ACE my nursing skills class and have prepared me I think for nursing school.
