Hi ya'll-
Thought I'd get this started for the rest of us who, sadly, did not make it in for Fall 2010. I'm hoping to re-submit my application for Spring today (or this week). Does anyone know, do we receive the form from the nursing office? Or, is this something we should grab from the website?
My score upon re-applying will be 54.899. Dang, sure am hoping this will be high enough and get me in this round!
How's everyone else holding up? Did everyone complete the pre-req - 1105 already? I have not and won't (due to extenuating circumstances) until early Fall. Will this negatively impact my chances of getting accepted? According to Tammy and the office, no. But, wanting to get everyone's input. Hoping we will hear about acceptance by Sept. Does anyone know this date for sure? The application period closed July 15, don't know why it takes them so long to get this word out.
Anyway- good luck to you. This is my 3rd round of applying so I sure am ready to get in and get on with this career change!

Hey!!! Finally got in at 157, just waiting on the CBC to come back, How long did this take for most people, the website says 3 days, but some other posts on here indicate more like a week and a half? Also according to my acceptance email there were a couple of other slots open after me, and so far only RR and Hybrid are left. I took RR which was my first choice anyway. Good luck to anyone else waiting to hear!!!

Great!! Congrats! The CBC is all dependent on if you said they could contact your employer for verification. If your employer is prompt, then it should only be about 3 days. I submitted mine on 10/1 and got the all clear on 10/5 and that was including a weekend.

Congratulations! How many points did you have, if you don't mind me asking? So that means that they at least have a few more spots right!!

Congrats RADIATIONRN2BE! The word I got from someone who is currently in the nursing program, is that there's no need to be concerned with what date you're allowed to start registering, once you've gotten your approval. Your slot will be held for you, and e instructors are all the same (teaching as a pool) regardless of the section you select. Tuition would be due on standard deadlines, so you could presumably wait to register until you can pay the tuition for that timeframe. Your slot will still be there for you even up to the last day of registration. All of that stress we had while registering for our prereqs is now magically gone. Hooray!
