Austin Community College (ACC) Admissions Fall 2014

Here we go, new thread for the people who weren't able to get in the Spring 2014.

Seems like every semester the number of people admitted to the course is dropping.

2013 Spring - Admitted 127

2013 Fall - Admitted 117

2014 Spring - Admitted 111

Couple of years ago they were admitting 160 students a semester, so this is a disturbing trend for us who are waiting to get in to the course.

Did anyone else get a provisional acceptance letter?

It is provisional because it is contingent upon passing the drug screen, background check, etc. we will get further instructions on that soon. Congrats!

For those who received acceptance letters, if you don't mind, what was your rating scores?

I didn't get in this semester :( but I didn't think I would since I only had 56.6 points. I start Nursing skills in July and then I'm finishing my last few pre-reqs for transfer to A&M after ACC, so I suppose it's for the best. I am positive that I will get in for the Spring semester since my points will be in the sixties by then. :/ Congrats to everyone who got acceptance letters!!!

Jaimib19, I know we were in the same skills lab. Would you want to get together and practice for the mastery check off at the beginning of the semester? I don't know how to personal message on here otherwise I would.

I didn't receive anything for the traditional track. I applied for both the traditional and mobility track so I got a call a couple weeks ago asking which one I wanted and I (of course) said mobility. She said those will came out in a week or so. Keeping my fingers crossed!

BTW...my ranking number is 58.3.

For those accepted, would you mind posting what your first, second, and third choices for sites is? (CEC, EVC, RR)

Also, can you post when you get notified? For me, my choices were 1. CEC, 2. EVC, 3. RR.
