Hey, I'm officially waiting on the acceptance to the nursing school of AU. I got my TEAS V score today and its a 72. Not too happy with it, but honestly I only studied the science portion and for a week. So I guess it's not too shabby. I have a GPA of 3.5.
Hopefully I've caught the eyes of other AU applicants out here. Feel free to share your scores and hopefully we get in!
I took it over the summer. I am so glad that I did. I know people who did take it in the fall and struggle with it because tests always fell on the same days as other tests. It's just a lot of information that you have to learn and remember. Trust me I was overwhelmed in the fall without patho. Also if you don't have a level 3000 general course completed our advisor will try to get you to take that in the fall. I ended up dropping that class because of the workload and I am taking it this summer.

Could we possibly take that upper level gen ed along with patho over the summer?
Your first semester you do not have a choice on the day. You only have one clinical day first semester and it is all day. Since the in coming class is so large I'm not sure of exact class days. They are usually on Tuesday and Thursday all day, plus you have two labs each week. For me my first semester I had one day of labs two days of lecture and one day of clinical.

Do you know where clinical sites are? I'm currently an employee at Central DuPage Hospital and would love to do my clinicals there.. But I'm assuming clinical sites cannot be chosen?
Thanks for all your help too! I really appreciate it, because I don't know what to expect all that much.

I'll definitely inquire about that meeting! And I'm sure we will learn more information in the next upcoming weeks :)
