Hey, I'm officially waiting on the acceptance to the nursing school of AU. I got my TEAS V score today and its a 72. Not too happy with it, but honestly I only studied the science portion and for a week. So I guess it's not too shabby. I have a GPA of 3.5.
Hopefully I've caught the eyes of other AU applicants out here. Feel free to share your scores and hopefully we get in!
Nice! Keep your CDH! Its honestly a dream job, ive been applying there I even had contact with one of the managers but they said there was no positions open. I am willing to even do housekeeping there lol. You will probably have to work part time but the best part is you will still get very good benefits. I am definately going to AU, so i am totally down for the FB page.
Be positive and be stress-free... I'm pretty sure everyone could find a good job as a nurse if you are a good students....so lets focus on passing all our classes :-) If you don't need to work don't, but some of us, (like me) need to ...I work as a dental assistant and the office opens at 9-5pm and I don't think I could work around that. Probably 10-15 hrs a week, so I could pay for gas and books, but if I can't my priority always will be school and my family. I'm glad most of us live in so near. I'm a minute away from college of dupage, its not so far from cdh. If someone decides to open a facebook page, let me know. :-)
(pathophysiology) one class is already full for June- July and another class their is just 7 seats open for June-July. July-august class -25 seats open....well, I decided to register for patho for June 02-July05 t,th...I personally want to have July and august for summer break :-) and getting prepared for nursing school.
I'll open a FB page soon, or anyone can do that if they'd like :)! I'd want to take patho in July probably. And no, I haven't heard anything about the nursing info sessions. Maybe they're closer to May? I have a meeting with an advisor for April 2 @ noon. I'll let you all know if I learn anything new. :)

I do work at CDH! I volunteered there throughout high school, and knew a person who knew a person, etc.. It is quite difficult to get a job at CDH; I applied many times! I would never think twice of leaving even in the nursing program. I am more than willing to lessen my hours however, since I am working almost full time!
