Hey, I'm officially waiting on the acceptance to the nursing school of AU. I got my TEAS V score today and its a 72. Not too happy with it, but honestly I only studied the science portion and for a week. So I guess it's not too shabby. I have a GPA of 3.5.
Hopefully I've caught the eyes of other AU applicants out here. Feel free to share your scores and hopefully we get in!
Hi, I'm starting in the Fall as a Jr, transfer student. So far my transfer gpa is low because I need to retake college algebra which should bring up my gpa. I am enrolled in path, chem and bio 1210 which will all be complete before april 2015. I am looking to take the TEAS in January 2015. What can you tell me would be beneficial to my application, a higher gpa of course I know, but what is the TEAS like?
I there a chance that a spring start date for the program will be added?
What is the first semester like if you have already taken path and all of the gen eds including the IDS courses? All I will have to take in the program are nursing courses?
I can tell you about the TEAS, it is four hour long test, its gunna cover reading, math, science, english, what i did to study for the test was get the teas practice manual online and it comes with two practice exams which realy helps prepare you, the book basically covers everything you need to know for the test, so all you would have to do is study it :) if you get a good score on the TEAS, you will stickout. They also make you answer two questions, like one of then was how would you handle a stressful situation? stuff along those lines. Good Luck with your application process :)
Their is a mandatory session we have to assist. I already went to mine. They went over of all the things you need before july 11... Health forms, criminal backgroung check, etc. They talked about uniforms and dress codes... If you have not attend.', call her because their is two more sessions left... And she did mentioned that many people have not called to schedule their appointment. Oriantation will be in august 25, .
