Has anyone else had trouble contacting Nori Brown? Her voicemail box is also full and it seems like she is always out of the office.

I emailed her almost a month ago, and still no response. I’ve decided to go to another school but still.. not very good communication.

yeah they labelled my application incomplete even though my nursingcas application is verified and i submitted the supplemental. They said they need a proof of degree but under my submitted materials that they received it says they received my final transcript so I have no idea what they need.Each time I call they transfer me to Nori Brown and she never picks up and doesn't respond to my emails. This is so stressful.

That’s very strange. You’d think with your official transcripts, that’s all you’d need.

That's what i thought too. That's why I want to sort everything out so that my application is complete by the deadline but no one will even talk to me. If this is how their nursing program operates then i guess i missed a bullet. smh

Exactly how I feel. This admission process has been all over the place and hard to communicate with anyone. I applied for early admission and was supposed to hear back by Jan 15th... and still have yet to receive anything in the mail. I eventually called admissions and found out I was waitlisted but if I hadn’t of called, I’d still have no idea.

no I didn't. I was trying to stay close to family but now I going to sart looking at other options.

Hey! Same thing happened to me, I called last week and a Sarah(I think) called me back saying Nori has been out of the office but should be back this week by today or tomorrow and if my status doesn’t change from incomplete by tomorrow then to call to see what’s going on. But with this application difficulty, plus the actual location of the school; I think I’m gonna pass. Which is a bummer because it’s a really quick way to a masters ? idk, where else did everyone apply?! Are you from Athens? From GA?

Yeah, 16 months to a masters in nursing was what drew me to the program. But I also applied to university of Texas and got in here.. Their program is 2.5-3 years but you sit for the nclex after 1 year into the program and you can work as an RN part time and finish your masters part time. So although it’s longer, you become an actual nurse faster. Plus I live here in Austin,TX.... my boyfriend is from Athens and knew someone who graduated from this program, so I applied as a back up.
