Hello guys hopefully applicants will find this post and be able to connect. I'll start by saying GOOD LUCK to EVERYONE!
I contacted Augusta on Tuesday the 21st. A gentleman from the admissions office told me over the phone that he could see that I had been waitlisted for the Athens campus, and could see that the decision had been made on January 13th. He couldn't understand why I hadn't received a letter about this yet, and seemed even more concerned when he insinuated that if you get a waitlisted decision, that there is a form you have to fill out and submit to get in the lineup on a first come first serve basis. I have yet to receive any communications from the program online or by mail.
Also, I'm having a difficult time understanding the process they are judging us on considering I was accepted into University of Texas Austin's alternate entry MSN program this week, but waitlisted at Augusta. ?

I'm sorry to hear that bud. Hopefully because majority of people haven't even heard anything, you'll be able to be at the top of that list and get in. Is there a way he could have put you on that list, or sent the letter out again?
Meanwhile, it sounds like you have another awesome option! I hope it all works out.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I didn't hear anything back until I got that letter in the mail. It might have to do with the holidays and how they slow everything down. Anyway, I have heard from a former student that this program is more competitive now. Two years ago, they offered in-person interviews and only two nursing-cas essays. Unfortunately, they stopped doing that last year. Also, I heard that the program looks at you holistically not just GPA. Good luck with your situation!

Good luck. You got this. Did you apply for pre-licensure MSN CNL or the MSN CNL? Which campus?

I received a school e-mail and it states that it needs the background form from me, so I'm hoping that's all good signs.
Mine says the same! I may or may not be checking the mail excessively lol.

I don't think they average the grade. I repeated a few courses and they were just added into my gpa as normal.
