Has anybody else applied to Augusta University for the doctoral anesthesia program starting in 2019? Looking to start a discussion regarding the application/acceptance process.

Good Luck to everyone!
Early May to find out if you've been selected? Talking about biting nails for weeks on end!

Hey, I just found this and thought I would jump in as a second SRNA to help answer questions. Hope everyone who interviewed today had a great day. I'll be helping with the other interview days so I hope to see lots of you in April!

[h=1]SFair82, How did it go???[/h]
I felt great about it but a lot of people left looking like a wreck when they left. To be a fly on a wall!

I'm so nervous about interviewing! Are the questions more personal/get to know you type questions or are they more clinical/knowledge based?
Our school's interviews is different from a lot of other interviews in that they are not going to ask you any clinical, CCRN-type questions. The whole interview process is about getting to know you as a person and whether or not you will be a good fit with our program. If they ask you anything about your clinical practice, I would think it would be in order to get to know you better, and how you have prepared yourself for anesthesia school.

Hello everyone! I interviewed yesterday, and although the questions were all about me, I still felt very nervous (during and after!) Today I feel much better about it. All I can do now is pray and wait... Good luck everyone!
I interviewed yesterday too. I was in the grey. Just curious who you were :)
BF, black and white dress, black jacket...
From Eisenhower, yes. I remember you. You interviewed after me. Hopefully it went well! I can't believe it's a 1:3 ratio of acceptance. Makes me nervous!
Looking back on it now, yes, I think it went well. At the time though, I probably looked like the lady who nearly ran away down the hall...that's how I felt anyway.
