Anyone who's applying to the competitive nursing program at Augusta University for fall 2022 is welcome.

Let's share stats and process together.

I haven't applied yet but my GPA is 3.7.

I'm taking TEAS in October.

Hi, I am late but I finished my application and submitted it December 2021, I took my TEAS in August and got a 87.3. My GPA is a 3.3 which I’m a little nervous about but I have 100+ volunteer hours!! I hope we both get in!!

That’s a really good score for TEAS!

My GPA is 3.8 and my TEAS scores is 84.7.

I applied mid-October and found out a couple of weeks ago that I got in.

I wish you get in soon!

OMG!! Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you! And you did really good on the TEAS as well! How long did it take for them to send the decision? And do you get an email or is it mailed?

Thank you! I found out on the portal. Didn’t get any physical mail or email, which is kinda strange. After I submitted my transcript for the fall on NursingCAS, I saw the notification on the portal around Jan 12th-ish. From what I heard from the CON, they send out the batch for December and January. And another batch will be sent out in March. I hope this helps!

Ugh I’m like refreshing my portal atleast 10 times a day to see any change & did you get a call? I’m in a zeemee group chat and 2 people said they call you and then update you status later. Also, how many do they accept for the Athens campus?

No, I didn’t get any calls. I know a friend who got in around the same time frame, she didn’t mention receiving any calls either. I guess it varies. For Athens, I think they accept less ppl than the Augusta campus? As far as I remember, it was under 50. You might check out the thread for 2021, it has a lot of info as well.

It must vary. My application has been verified since mid-December but they emailed me on January 12 about having to add another reference and it took another week to get that reference, I hope that that didn't prolong my decision. I am looking at the stats from the 2021 thread and the ones who got accepted had very similar stats to me so I am hoping I get accepted! And did you choose the Athens or Augusta campus?

Yeah, my course for fall 2021 wasn’t even verified but they accepted me for some reason. Check the portal daily and see how it goes! I chose Augusta campus cause I live in a surrounding city.

I just checked the portal and it says that they have evaluated my transcript and cumulative GPA. I wonder if that means they have looked through my application and will give a decision? Did that happen to you? And I applied for Athens as my first option!

Mine took a while for them to make a decision. Almost 3 months after the initial apply in Mid-October. I’m guessing that means that they’re looking at your application (along with others’) and the decision will be made soon in the near future. But as I mentioned before, they said that the next batch will be in March. So I would check the portal on a regular basis but would keep in mind that the decision’ll be made around March!

The stress is killing me, I am trying to be patient until march but I wish they could make it sooner LOL. I was checking the 2021 forum and I saw some people got their decision in February, maybe they changed it for this year. Also, was AU your home school? Or are you a transfer bc I am transferring from GGC and some of my credits got messed up and didn't transfer the way I was told to, but I have all of my main science and math course done and when I do get accepted I may have to take their area B courses in Summer which sucks.
