I am creating this for two purposes. One for those of us applying to DNP programs for Fall 2022 for Augusta and also to see if anyone who has already been accepted/ in my shoes can give some feedback.
I applied in January, finished my video in March and my full application was marked completed. Since then it has been radio silence until about two weeks ago. I get an email from the decision committee requesting additional information; they would like to see my current grades in my current courses and two additional LOR from my current nursing faculty. I have been going mad trying to understand if this is a good sign or what?
I was advised it would be at least two more weeks until I hear anything. I was given four job offers and the decision of graduate school greatly influences the department I accept.
For anyone who has been through the process or has any insight on admissions process for graduate programs in general and can provide any feedback or ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon,
I was under the assumption that I was probably denied secondary to the dead silence since I applied on February. My admission portal has remained under the status of "submitted" though so I guess I'm still in the running. I received a widespread email in March stating they were behind in admissions and then once again dead silence. I reached out a few days before the deadline of April 15 and was told my application was in the stack for review for April 18. After the decision is processed by the graduate committee, it then goes through the graduate school for a final review so I knew it would still take a few weeks.
I've seen other posts on the "zeeme" app which was an app the MSN students had to download. The last posting was yesterday by a nursing candidate which stated they'd called the school and were told admissions were behind. Seems they were told they should hear something this upcoming week....hopefully it's the same for DNP candidates. I've looked up "augusta university DNP" on face book and since February, I've only seen one new student announce they'd been accepted...this was on April 24th.
Good luck to you
Thank you so much for your response. And to think classes start in roughly three months. I will definitely keep you posted if I hear anything.
Best of luck to you as well.

Thanks! I did reach out on Monday and was told I should have a decision in a few days. Hoping today is the day. I can only assume they're dealing with attrition and staff shortages which is delaying the process. Im hopeful of acceptance

I saw a bit about your background. I think you definitely will get in!
I’m sure ---------------------------- is tired of me so I called the regular admissions office just now and they advised it’s still awaiting a decision. I asked if there was a complete deadline for decisions to be rendered and she advised it can be up until Fall when the program starts ?

So they called today, did you get an email as well? Still waiting, hopeful they'll be something today!
No e-mail. From what I hear the acceptances are solely calls so I thought that this was "the" call. She had a few questions about my application and told me the official decision letter is coming but that it could take up to another month. I'm just glad that I got some communication. Still praying for you as well!

Another month?!?!?!? Did she say why there was such a delay this year?
No she didn't. I talked with someone else in one of their programs and she said she found out 2 weeks before classes started last year!
There are several people I know that applied and are freaking out because their leases end next month and they don't know what to do.

Oh no that's bad!! I wanted to know early because I plan on paying out of pocket and need to know if I need to reserve money from my Summer vacation fund. Not as bad as everyone else so I'll stop complaining.
