Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

Yeah it took me a little bit to figure that out, but I don't think you're the only one who can't view it! I'd call admissions tomorrow and ask!

I emailed them yesterday about the acceleration program email and I received an email around 9 then about 11 I got a phone call. They just had a couple of question like will all of my classes be done by May. I am really hoping I get into that program. I already have a BS degree in Biology. My gpa is a 3.12( not super great but it was a ton of upper level biology and physics(eww)). My TEAS is an 87 and I have a ton of hours of experience.

I thought that was a really cool opportunity too! I just wish they had it at the Athens Campus!

I was interested in the accelerated program too but I already signed a lease in Athens so I can't switch to the Augusta campus :(

Mine still says ready for review. It is the beginning of the month though, hopefully they're having another meeting today and it's still kinda early like when it gets to March and I haven't heard anything I'll start to panic lol

Mine still says Ready to Review. I'm like panicking, I just wanna know. But I'm sure they're behind cause of they emailed saying they're still accepting TEAs scores & Transcripts. URGH! IM SO SCARED!

Oh really?? Maybe that means not enough people are applying or something which is probably good news for us??

I hope so, I feel like its not far for those that did everything on time. Ugh, hopefully we hear something soon. :)

Y'all should for sure hear soon. Yeah the app deadline was the date they posted but they always continue to accept TEAS and transcripts because once a student requests those they technically aren't their responsibilty anymore (like some Universities take a while to send a transcript). They should be releasing everything soon... the reason people heard back so fast while the applications were going on was because there weren't waitlisted and denials being considered. Y'all got this!

Has anyone heard any news yet? I check the status page at least 5 time a day!! All of my coworkers that went to Augusta said they all heard back pretty quickly (some within two weeks of applying) so I'm starting to get a bit nervous but trying to be patient since I'm sure a lot of people have applied. Also...is this the only program y'all have applied to or have you applied to other programs as well??
