Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

I just finished all the requirements for Fall 2018! I'm so nervous to hear back. How long before they notify us?

Hey ktonly98!! It's rolling admission! From what I understand the committee will meet a certain amount of times up until like March I think and will accept people. We all could hear at different times based on when you got your application turned in. Mine still says "ready for review", so I'm hoping mine will change soon! What's your GPA and TEAS score and what campus are you applying to??

I submitted my application back in November and still haven't gotten a submission, so I'm guessing it'll be awhile

Just got an email from Augusta that reads:

"We are excited to let you know about an opportunity to be considered for a 15 month, BSN accelerated program on the Augusta Campus only that will allow 16 students to begin May 2018 and graduate August 2019...Expressing interest in the summer start program will not remove you from consideration for fall admission; however, to be eligible for the summer start date all core requirements must be successfully completed by May 11th, 2018."

I don't know if I should tell them I'm interested in the accelerated program. It'd probably be a-lot, but it would be nice to graduate early! Danielle2434 what are your stats and what campus are you applying to?

Where can you see your status? I entered my information on the main Augusta application check page but it says "decision in mail" from when I was accepted to the university! I applied to both campuses but the main as my priority.

GPA 3.38

TEAS 84.7

Okay at the top of that page where you're on, there should be another button on the top right that says, "return to applications list" click on that button and it should show both of your applications: one for augusta state, and the other should say Fall 2018- Bachelor of Science in Nursing! And I'm applying with a 3.7 GPA and an 84 on the TEAS!

My stats aren't super competitive (unfortunately)-

GPA: 3.2

TEAS: 82.7

But I already have a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and I currently work for CHOA, so I have over 1,000 clinical experience hours under my belt and some really good rec letters from the nurses on my unit! I put Athens as my preference, but also told them I'd be ok with the Augusta campus as well!

Danielle2434, stats aren't everything!!! I think you having all that experience and a Bachelor's degree is definitely going to help!!

ktonly98, whenever I wanna check my status I just type in on google Augusta State Application Status Check and there's a page where you enter your first and last name, birthday, and you can enter your student ID number in or the last four of your social is that the page you're on?
