Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Yes we will!!! Hope to meet you next Wednesday at orientation! We should exchange numbers!

For those going to Central The Dean said we would get the book list at Orientation, but one of the other campuses sent out the book list already. It will pretty much be the same but she said some of the books we wont really need so wait until then so they can tell us.

I'm central campus process 1 and 2 1-4pm .. anyone buy nursing shoes yet? Idk what to buy !! Ahh

I think we must wear white shoes for clinical only. I see many students on campus with different color shoes, grey, black, brown, pink, green, violet.. you name it. I would say buy a cheap but comfortable shoes just for clinical, which I believe is only once a week if you're going to North Campus.

I am wondering the same thing? I need to know which day specifically so I can tell my boss...

Central said that the first week of school, you"ll be going to both the Tuesday and Wednesday clinicals and then after that it'll be one day. They'll split you up into smaller groups from there!

What was said is that you DO NOT pay Quest. The obligation will be added when the results come in.

Can anyone tell me why we have clinicals for 2 days at central and one on the other campus?!?

The first week its two days, every week after that it will be one.

can you just walk in to take the drug test??? and can we go to any quest that's closer to us or just the one on that paper???
