Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

No professors listed for central campus classes. Its like a leap of faith for these classes. Thought we would have been able to choose.

Girl I thought the same thing too. I took process in the morning though, and although I signed up for the MTB with the updated class list they sent us, it still shows Thursday from 1-4 instead of Monday like the update said. I don't know what's up with that but I hope it doesn't screw anything up

Can anyone tell me why we have clinicals for 2 days at central and one on the other campus?!?

Help me here.. Deadline to turn in documents for North Campus is August 15th. I decided to complete my certificates at BC. I noticed one of the courses runs until August 8th. My question is... How soon will I get my certificates? Will I get them right away or would I have to wait for weeks to get them?

I took mine at BC and they were ready within a week.. I also saw on previous threads that some people got them within 3 days. If you complete them now you will definitely have them before our due date!!

Oh and I finished mine within a day, they're very easy! (maybe 2 days now that we have a new requirement, I haven't started it yet)

It seems having insurance means nothing when it comes to these immunizations. This is a major pain in the buns. AND the pocket

Were you able to finally get registered? The error was still coming up for me, so I called and they did it for me. So I'm finally in....BTW did you look up the professor for this online course I read some..not so favorable reviews about her and I know someone currently taking the Online program and their comments matched many of these reviews...All I'm going to say is WOW...this should be interesting!!!

Oh wow! That's discouraging.. I'm hoping for the best

A little...but I have had my share of....lets just say NOT so good professors both online and face to face (part of how I learned to self teach) and even with the bad reviews people still pass so all is not lost. We will just have to make sure we know our stuff! Dont get discouraged yet..Im Speaking into existance that I/We CAN do this! :)

I just called medic urgent care center and the titers cost $290. Check up $29 POD $10....is there anyplace I can get this done cheaper. My poor pocket. Im self pay so every dollar counts.
