August 2014 for Broward College

Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Have you guys started reading? I haven't, I want to start reading towards the end of July so I can retain more of the information. I'm currently focused more on the math right now and preparing myself mentally on how to sucessfully study and stay organized in the program. I've watched many YouTube videos and read a few blogs. How are you guys preparing yourselves?

I received an email from her stating thanks and she'd see me 6/30/14...and I've been basically doing the same thing lots of youtube videos on organization (I have two small children so I need all the tips that I can get lol) and I've been reading lots of threads and doing my Ceu's and studying for my RMA...I have the 7th edition of perry and potter so I'll start studying soon (maybe next week)

I didn't get a reply, hope I'm still ok.. I also have the 7th edition book and a link for the 8th edition online but for some reason I can't focus while reading online textbooks, the 7th edition will have to do for now until I can get the 8th edition text
