Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Hi,
So I got my titer results back and I only need one vaccine costing $150. I went to this place called health and physical services in lauderdale lakes, in the plaza across the old Broward meat shop on 441. It's not the fanciest, but it got the job done and the staff is friendly and helpful. Physicals are $30, and 39 with ppd I think. Titers are $35 each.
Stel: I have orientation at 1pm, I plan to go to North. I know a few others from my class going to the 9am orientation and they're planning to go to central.
Can't wait for Monday!
I got the 5th edition. Are you asking if you have to attend South campus since your orientation is at 1:00? Sorry I didn't understand the question.
I went to central campus today, as I was talking to some girls I've figured out that most of the people who have BC South as their main campus(where they've started their pre-reqs) are attending the 1:00 pm orientation on Monday even If they've moved close and they've been taking classes at North. That made me curious because I started down there but I've recently moved to Oakland park and I wanted to attend North Campus instead. I don't know if you understand what I mean?
I see what you mean, I don't think it's based on the campus you started at. And from previous threads you are able to choose the campus you want to attend, they'll give us the campus codes for each class when it's time to choose (just be up early and ready to pick your classes cause they go fast). We live in the same area :) study buddies!!
