Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I completed three of the certificates at ceufast.com. I just realized that they don't offer cpr.. What should I do?

Check out the american red cross or Sheridan, mcfatter

Okay, thanks..

They offer cardiac emergencies: Sudden cardiac death, heart failure... Would BC consider it?

Bc wants you to have CPR with the American heart assoc(BLS)...there is a place in davie...go to fastcna.com(paramount training service).try going on their website ,you can make an appt for CPR online or call them 954 921-9577.i used them when I was suppose to start in May.it went smoothly.i was pleased with them.

I did mine at CPR Florida Coral Springs ask for the health care provider, I did mine on a Saturday and got my license at the end of the course.

The CEU's are offered online at Broward College as well. I completed them all already. It's really easy.

How can I get it done online through BC? I would have to register for it just like I would for a normal class...?

Yes, you register like for a normal class and just choose the classes that are online.

They don't have any available online; classes are only offered at central. I am trying to get everything done this week before next week's orientation.

If the online class says central it doesn't matter, you can still do the class online. You have the choice of having the certificate mailed or you can pick it up.

Thanks! Congrats to you as well!!!! I plan on Central but my second choice is South due to distance. How about you?

I will be attending south. I love South Campus! All of my friends are in the program there and they said it's tough but after the first semester you know what is expected and will feel a bit more relieved.
