Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

PRE-ADMISSION :roflmao: Anyone else going to south?!?!

There's a link posted couple pages back for all the math!

Here it is: Nursing Process Math

Save you some trouble on trying to find it lol

Lol, believe me on this one; I think there is no such thing as best and worst campus. Attend whichever campus that you think is the most suitable for you. There may be students who registered at Central, and failed at the program just because they don't put as much effort into it. Meanwhile, those students at either South or North Campus who dedicated themselves to the program; studying days or nights are doing great in the program.. You know what those Central students will be thinking..? "Oh, maybe it's Central campus, IT GOT TO BE CENTRAL..!" As we may know, we will be stuck at whichever campus we completed our first semester.. Meaning, those same Central students could have attend either South or North and do worse. They would be thinking Central is the best Campus of the three.. It's like taking the teacher that students warned you about, and his class turned out to be a breeze.. Yes, the program is tough at every campus, and if you're planning on working it will be tougher. If you're planning on driving 30 extra miles or minutes to get to the campus that you think is the best one, it will be even tougher..

I got 10$ bottoms an 10$ top scrubs at the books store. I believe the sale ends on the 27th! stock up while you can (:

Thanks a lot Nelly for the math link! I opened it up and almost fell over because the questions looked insane! i think im just stressing too much, but it never hurts to start practicing. They arent so bad (:

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest physical??? I do not have health insurance.

Hi,

olkan: I totally agree! Everyone's experience and opinion will always be different, but we all know it's going to be hard no matter which campus you go to so just prepare and plan yourselves accordingly and focus on how to survive.

Salty cookie: Call walgreens or cvs clinic and see.
