Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Been checking my BC mail like crazy, still nothing yet. Alot depends on whether I get in cause I have to give notice to my job. I saw the earlier reading list and HOLY CRAP thats alot of reading!!! I would like to get started but I dont want to count my chicks until they hatch so to speak. Ugh, the humanity!!
Thank you Olkan! Just incase anyone else wanted to know, I called North campus and they said I should be fine *crosses fingers*. We'll see! Also, does anyone have advice on specifically what to study for the A&P section of the Hesi? I did a general search on the forum but wanted to hear feedback from BC students that took it recently. I searched this thead and didn't find much but if I'm wrong I apologize. I have the Elsevier Admission Review book but I hear that it's not much help and not enough detail? Thank you in advance :)
Shoot me a PM with your email and Ill send some info

Nursejackiern12b can you send me some info regarding the Hesi? I am going to take the test on June 25. My email address is [email protected]. Any info that you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
In the past forums for the previous years alot of people said Central campus was the worst to go to and North is the best. For this reason I was going to go to north. Does anyone know if this is still true? Then again I recently heard that Central
cleaned out alot of faculty and staff, plus they have the new health science building.

I dont know how true any of it is anymore, but I do know that there are bad professors on every campus. Unless you know specifically who not to take a class with, I suggest we just keep our acts together regardless.
