August 2014 for Broward College

Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Does anyone know if Admissions is open on Saturdays and what time? I'm taking the HESI that day; would I be able to turn in my HESI scores the same day or do I have to wait until Monday to turn them in? Thanks

Health Science Admissions on Central is open Monday to Thurday from 8am to 4pm but not this coming Monday because of the holiday.

Hi everyone! Is it true that we have to wait 6 months to re take the HESI, or portions of it that we weren't happy with on the first try?

Prepare to be bored out of your mind with the North Campus Math class. I missed last week's, so I didn't know how bad it was. Prof King-Gulliver is going to give you a migraine with how she is lol. I can't really describe it other than she's gonna test your patience and ability to 'grin and bear it' more than she will your ability to do what should be simple math. She finds a way to make a one minute math problem last ten minutes.

I'll link a math packet that we have to get done later. Please save yourself some headache and learn/do it before coming to her class lol.

Anyway, here's to me surviving this last half hour.

Am I the only one taking Summer classes? I can't seem to concentrate on anything I am doing. I just took a test in one of my classes, and I practically answered every question wrong. The waiting game is just suicidal. I am hoping I am not the only one feeling this way.
