August 2014 for Broward College

Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I think Dr. K is pretty cool too. Seems very to the point just don't waste his time or talk. Lol

12 hours of orientation tomorrow should be fun...... -__- lol

Is there anyone here that signed up for the lab skill workshop on thursday at 9am that is willing to change with me, mines on thursday but at 1:30pm. My math class was switched for thursday at 1:30pm-4:30pm, so I won't be able to attend the workshop. Help anyone...please?

Divafresco: How do you like Central. Ill be in the January program and I'm between North and Central. Im sure uve heard the stories from Central campus (here in this site)and id just like to get some feedback from an actual student that goes there. Thank you much!

Hey! Sorry for the late response! I like central campus and I believe the professors I've had so far are great, they have all prepared me in different ways with some being stronger in lecture and others in lab. I don't know how North campus is but I always hear good things about it. But I really don't think there is any reason to shy away from central if it's closer to you

i have the same math class as you. Maybe see if you can switch the day of the assessment if at all possible.
