Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Do you guys think I should buy both of the required books for pharmacology? Are you guys buying both? I am about to place an order.

I'm gonna buy whatever is needed. Although some teachers go by the power points, they usually coincide with the book and extra questions and review sections can only help my opinion.

I bought both and the book we will need for the math class. I am waiting on financial aid to get the fundamentals.

Read on rate my professor that our pharmacology professor for central, never uses the required text. He goes by his powerpoint slides.

Do you guys think I should buy both of the required books for pharmacology? Are you guys buying both? I am about to place an order.

Should I arrange my documents by the order on the pre-admission letter? They told me something different at the pre-admission session.. At the orientation, they told me another thing.

Some instructors use power points while others use the books. South students, should we buy the book package/ set, or just buy certain books?

I turned in my documents today. The only copies I turned in were the certificates. Everything else were original.

Finally made it out to central to sign the hep B waiver today. Once you have not completed all the series you must sign the waiver is what I was told. Happy trotted to the book store to get a copy of the Math for health professionals work book for Prof Berger class and was told they have no idea when its coming in. I was instructed to call next week to check if those made it to the book store.

I am annoyed because I want to glance over the math book before class.
