Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
The fundamentals of nursing alongside the clinical. I already have both of the books for pharmacology. I am trying to find a good deal online for the math (dosage calculations.)
Do you also have the Davis drug guide and the yellow Davis lab tests book? You'll need them in process 2 when you do your patient profiles. But you pretty much have what's needed although if you're at central or north and have Dr. K, you won't need the pharmacology book. He uses his PowerPoint slides.
Hello everyone, I'm currently on my journey to becoming a nurse however I came across a bump in the road. I have one more pre req to take before I can apply which is college algebra. Can anybody recommend a good teacher. Preferably at north or central campus will even consider online. Your help will be greatly appreciated and congrats to the people who did get accepted.

You can also take Statistics instead of the Algebra if you want to, its also accepted. That's what I did, but hopefully someone on here knows a good professor if you really want to do Algebra

Thanks! Good luck heading into Cardio. For the first semester, Nursing Process 1&2 do we need to buy the Med/Surg books yet that is on the book list?
